＜デジタルの荒波に揉まれて…＞

地デジの波及効果なのか、映像制作の現場でもＨＤ化が進み、インデペンデント映画でも手軽にテープレスでかつ高精細度の映像制作が進んでいる。映画祭のＨＤ上映作品も年々、増えつづけ、それに対応できるうよう事務局もしてきているが、いかんせん使う側も、ハードウェアは用意できても環境が完全とはいえない状況だったり、上映に適するだけの準備まで用意できていない状態だったりする。
様々なフォーマットが存在し、クリエイターの望む状態で映画祭側も対応したいという基本姿勢から、毎年ではあるか、この課題には苦労している。
当然ではあるが、海外からも応募はあるわけで、ぜひとも次年度は、テープレスの上映を考えてみたいという願望を持っている。

I do not sure whether digital terrestrial broadcasting has spread effect, but High Definition promotes at the image making field too and then even independent films can be made by High Definition images without tape cheaply. High Definition films shown in film festivals are increasing and the executive office is trying to keep pace. However even they can prepare the hardware, the circumstance is not compleated or they are in a condition which is not appropriate for showing.
There are various formats and we also want to keep pace as the creators want. From this basic attitude, we have trouble solving this problem every year.
By necessity, there are some applications from abroad and we hope to show films without tape next year at all rates.
